Successfully built and deployed the bundle from the
flink-kubernetes-operator-1.5.0-rc2
Steps:
Create a fresh KinD cluster (v0.18.0 go1.20.2 linux/amd64)
wget
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/flink/flink-kubernetes-operator-1.5.0-rc2/flink-kubernetes-operator-1.5.0-src.tgz
tar xzvf
Seems missing taskmanager pod. I tried the following:
kubectl create -f
https://github.com/jetstack/cert-manager/releases/download/v1.8.2/cert-manager.yaml
helm install 1.5rc1
Agree. I will help.
I did the following:
Ran OLM bundle CI test suite for Kubernetes.
Generated and Deployed OLM bundle.
Created standalone/session jobs.
All Look good. Thanks for managing the release!

Hi Gyula,
Agree, we should include the bundle file and let community inspect them in the
staging repo. In addition, people can do a few things to test the bundle files.
1.Run CI test suits
(https://github.com/tedhtchang/olm#run-ci-test-suits-before-creating-pr) with
the bundle
Hi Gyula,
We will let you decide the bundle should be an artifact or not. In my opinion,
the easiest way people may test the bundle is that the catalog and bundle
images are already in a registry. This way, people only need to apply the
catsrc, og, and
Hi Mark,
I got 404 too. Try this if you were installing OLM:
curl -sL

| bash -s v0.22.0
Hi everyone,
A while ago, we created the OLM bundle for Flink Kubernetes Operator on the
OperatorHub [1]; however, the bundle is not endorsed by the Apache Flink
community. I would like to ask your opinion how we can make the bundle more
official or even as a part of the Flink Kubernetes

Hi Biao thanks for the quick reply.
The helm chart uses a standard Deployment to mount the keystore onto the
webhook container using volumes/volumeMounts for the operator but it’s not
clear to me how to mount the keystore using the FlinkDeployment CRD[2] for a
Flink application.

Hi
Is there a recommended way (similar to this [1] ) to enable the SSL
REST/Internal connectivity for FlinkDeployment created by the Flink Kubernetes
Operator?
First I added the required SSL config inside the flink-operator-config
configmap.
The required SSL configs look like:
Hi Gyula,
Thanks for the release timeline information. I would like to learn the gathered

Hi Martin,
Thanks for the clarification. I will be interested in becoming an ASF committer.
I missed the Sync meeting today because I thought 4pm CST was Central Standard
Time but it was actually my 1am(Pacific Time).
Is there no contributor joining from the US ? I will join the next week sync
