Problem is that there are a number of illegal situations in

If you see
OK, a is now link and the document validates in principle.
However with Johannes Testproject it still generates 6
error. Some of which are link without href (not legal) one
is an ulo without content.
I guess that stylesheet will need some further cleaning.

Image width seems not to be a problem, screenshots with 1024x768 are included
correctly although they're too high. It seems that FOP (?) scales them down
