MRELEASE-459[1] has been in JIRA for over two years with a patch that
seems sane. Any chance on getting this included? I'd be happy to do
any further work required to get it in just not sure how to draw some
attention to it.

I've fixed a rather weird issue with maven-scm-provider-gitexe (SCM-663) and
set the build from -T3 to single threaded.
When building maven-scm with enabled TCK tests in parallel, I sometimes get
errors. The more threads, the more often I get errors.

I am a bit puzzled by the issue. I agree it makes the whole work
for MEAR-141 useless on Linux or Ubuntu but I really don't understand why
it's failing for you or Jenkins.
I am actually on MacOS and I can't reproduce the issue. If you can't
reproduce the issue on Windows, it remains a linux
