Most commons plugins are now compatible with m2e or have available m2e
connectors so you generally don't need to add anything in your poms.

which needs to be done.
Let's first agree that we don't want to maintain it here anymore. Since
there's still need for the plugin, mojohaus seems to be the best place to
continue its development.

+1 I understand Rotert's problem with this plugin. I would personally move
it away from Apache repo in GitHub because I think we should not dedicate
our spare time to maintain it. The only problem is who will have rights to
commit into it, or let the contributors to push pull requests like it is

are easier if some users want to give him some love.
