(especially those of you, who are potential attendees of the OOoCon 2008
in Beijing, November 5 to 7)
please excuse to repeatedly bothering you with such messages and
cross-posting it to quite a bunch of lists. Please follow up with any
discussion at <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
The organizational team in Beijing needs *your* *action* in order to
quantify the number of people, who will attend the OOoCon in Beijing
form November 5 to 7. We need this information for many reasons. Most
important for you, we will base our negotiations on discounted flight
tickets on it. We have been in touch with airlines so far, but talks
always stall, because they want to know an estimated number of attendees
and an overview on their origin before talking about special conditions.

We would like to ask everyone, who is considering to visit the OOoCon in
Beijing, to to join by answering the following questions:

- How likely is your attendance at the OOoCon in Beijing?

- What is your background of visiting the OOoCon?

- Last but not least, I would also like to know, if you are interested
to attend some presentations about FOSS in China besides OOo. If an
appropriate number of you is indeed curious, we will try to have
some speakers available at Tuesday (Nov 4) before the main conference.
Besides gathering information for negotiations of discounted flights, we
also want to use the survey to approach the people, who completed it,
directly and help them with their visa applications. This is surely
another main benefit to take part in the survey.
