Hi,
I've been a couple of days looking at the code and trying to add a mousemove
function inside the SelectFeature control.
I have tried with handlers but so far I haven't succeeded. Still trying.
Anyone can give a hand?

Could you explain a little more what you're trying to accomplish ?
There might be other ways to do what you want.
