I have been using Apache Open Office for a couple of years now. The I ran a program that would supposed to delete duplicate programs and it wiped the program off my disk.
Now when I try re-loading Open Office from your site, the thing progresses to the point of the green bar almost but not quite filling on PREPARING YOUR INSTALLATION then it freezes, like for overnight, four times. Neither it or the disk icon in the Windows 7 system tray can be removed unless I reboot the computer. Awful. I wish I could reload it. The program is really competing with Microsoft Word.
