The mod_perl 1.x is a maintenance track designed to work with httpd

No new mod_perl 1.x releases since 2014-12.

mod_perl 2.X is designed to work with all httpd 2.X branches.

mod_perl
We do not support httpd 2.4 yet.
There is a 2.4 branch in svn that you might want to try, however.

Hi Philippe,
the mod_perl mailing lists don't seem to respond to 'subscribe' requests
to
build statically with mod_ssl.
Also, this patch needs to be applied, too (first sent back in January):

Committed revision 632150.

exceptions for these, me thinks.
Nothing too difficult, but quite a few places to get tripped up.
Unless you have the time to get this sorted out quickly, I'd rather
revert this until I can get the RCs out, then we can fiddle with
this.

Yes, Philippe, you are right.
In current modperl there are 3 ways to get to modperl_config_insert():
- $r-add_config via modperl_config_insert_request
- $s
Since the last few patches for 5.10, I haven't heard of anything bad
hapenning.
Since Perl 5.10 has already been out for a while, I'd like to volounteer
to RC the next mod_perl 2.0, assuming it *does* work correctly with Perl
5.10 by now.
Any objections ?

this took a similiar root to Apache-SizeLimit and is pulled in
via and SVN external.
Not sure if that's really planned for yet. It hasn't been done in
any case, and it was unnecessary in the test suite.
