Summary: Mails sent via SMTPAuth are recognized as spam Product: Spamassassin Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: Rules AssignedTo: dev@spamassassin.apache.org ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I use SMTPAuth as SMTP proxy. This proxy adds "[via SMTPAuth x.xx, bisswanger.com]" to the X-Mailer header (this cannot be disabled). Yesterday I recognized that GMX deleted some of my mails, because they are recognized as spam. X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.79 [en] (Win98; U) [via SMTPAuth 0.9, [via SMTPAuth 2.00, bisswanger.com] [...] X-GMX-Antispam: 5 (Score=2.799; FORGED_MUA_MOZILLA) Then I posted the information to the SMTPAuth mailing list - and the mail got scored there, too: X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.78 [en]C-CCK-MCD (Win95; U) [via SMTPAuth 2.00, bisswanger.com] [...] X-Spam-Score: 2.7 (++) X-Spam-Report: Spam Filtering performed by sourceforge.net.
