We've been running struts 2 apps as standalone and portlet using the same
code/war file for a long time. We do use the portlet plugin and include 2
different struts.xml configurations using different namespaces. For example our
struts.xml file includes each configuration using includes as follow
Yeap I am trying to use same Web App as Portlet as well as Servlet App.
Thanks for clarifying that this combination is not supported by Struts2.
I'll plan on using direct servlets without any framework in my Web App.
