On certain machines, The Tomcat installation fails on Windows XP, producing the following error message : "failed to install tomcat5 service, Check your settings and permissions Ignore and continue anyway (not recommended)]", even if you are actually logged under an admin account. * When? Every time you try to install in the targeted env. * Causes The %TEMP% and %TMP% env. variables are not properly read from the environment by the installation program.
