I will say publicly what I have said privately.
As much as I would like to play with Wicket, I can see it isn't going to
happen in the near future. Work is taking me into more Python sysadmin
type work, which is great fun, but not web UI work.

I have uploaded the Wicket 1.3.0-beta3 release to my people.apache.org account.
Please look carefully at this release, I may have seen some strange
things during my trial run of the examples [1], but the deployed
examples on wicketstuff don't seem to have those problems.
