expected to receive OTA updates on a daily basis. I did get updates for
apps which were updated. My question is: Does backup_restore_profile.sh
backup my apps + data?

OTA Updates are still not working on 2.0,2.1 and 2.2.
Instead of that if you don't want to lose your data you can apply the
backup_restore_profile.sh Script to save all of your data and then
restore it when you've done the flash...

OTA updates are working fine for me on 2.2 and base image v188! I have to
search for them though: Device information, search for updates, search now.
What base image are you using? Maybe an older one causes the issue?

Nino, which updates are you expecting? Flame just got its first OTA
update with the move from 1.3 to 2.0 yesterday.
I'm not Nino but I would have expected some security updates that fix
security issues that have occured since the base image (in my case v188).
