Hello all,
We would like to start a new language project, namely we would like to
have OpenOffice on Kyrgyz language.
Our team is working on fostering FOSS development in Kyrgyzstan.
During last two years we've got thousands computers in rural schools
with installed opensource products. However, we still suffer from lack
of native-speaking software. Now our team is on the way to translate
the Gnome. The OpenOffice is our next priority.

This is really great news. Wecome to the OOo Localization project!

Please, let us know, what should we do in order to register our team
in the list of projects, and get support from you.
If you haven't done so, please go ahead and register to the l10n project

All mailing lists related to this project can be found at:

Re: [l10n-dev] Localization to Kyrgyz langauge

2008-04-28 Thread Ilyas
Hi Maksat,

Nice to see new kirghiz translators. I started work on localedata, for OO
kirghiz locale support and committed my work( issue 66114). Now lack of time,
I'm not actively working on it but appreciate your work. I met Aleksey Bebinov
at gipi.kg and have information about featured projects.

Can I ask? How big is your team? I have some contacts who works with
localizations and we can share and aggregate teams. I can share and help with
this project, as much as I can

About team registration, I can say that you need proposal for the translation
project. There are mails in mailing list, where I got some idea about starting
new team.

Thanks,
Ilyas Bakirov
