I heard some time ago that the profiles.xml were removed in Maven3. Although
I'm still using 2.1.0 I want to be prepared for such changes.
IMHO I think it's a bad choice to remove this option.
Maven should provide some sort of way where developers can set/change project
properties without

He rolled back the release, made a jira-issue[1], changed the configuration of

IIRC, Eclipse Helios has splitted the way of indentation for javacode and XML.
I had to set it by hand for XML in the past.

It looks like we can't upgrade the value for mavenFilterVersion due to
regression, so we have to stay at 1.0-beta-2
Somehow the escaping character is ignored.
And the sources now use generics.
The title of MEAR-107 is kind of misleading, it's actually
to java 1.5, I presume we are
switching to maven 2.2.1 at least as a minimum... we could just bump
it to 3.0 and the issue would be gone

because it uses its own definition, borrowed from (an old)
DefaultArtifact.
