I have setup Kannel on fedora and its working file.
How do i set my global sender from being a cell number to a name like
innocent, such that when you receive the sms it will be write from innocent
instead of 12345 which is my sim card number.

Firstly, this is a question for the users list :)
Secondly, this is not supported if you are using a GSM modem or SIM
card, this is only possible when connected to an SMSC (SMPP, UCP,
etc).
