RPM 4.14.0 adds support for SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH, which allows to set the "Build Date" contained inside the .rpm thus making the rpm non-reproducible. (see https://reproducible-builds.org/specs/source-date-epoch/) However, "[mersdk@SailfishSDK /]$ rpm --version RPM version 4.9.1.2" which is quite old - from 2011! [2] Can we expect a newer rpm version in a reasonable time frame for the Sailfish SDK?
