These days I maintain gPodder and we use the same version number on harbour
and OpenRepos however the OpenRepos version has more functionality.
With the last few system updates I noticed that after an update I'm always
on the harbour version of gPodder instead of the version I installed

Looks really interessting especially when considering how buggy the profile
handling is currently and the mess that every vendor creates.
I think when it comes to the programming language c plus glib is probably the
preffered choice.
I hope this brings linux closer to the feature state of

Thanks to everyone who took part in the community meeting; there were
some very interesting discussions. It seems that the poor Merbot managed
