That is strange.
First I did a zypper rm qt5-qtsvg to remove qtsvg from my Emulator.
Then I built and run my test app (wiht qt5-qtsvg in the Requires:
section of the .yaml /.spec files).

OK, this was my error: I had used the latest Offline SDK installer,
but did not run the available Emulator update. With the latest
Emulator image (and the right requirements in .yaml and .spec),

Well, indeed it's better than the hour is spent to provide better apps for
Sailfish than to do some freaky copy-protection, finally broken by some
talented hacker (If iOS is jailbroken, WAT in Win7 broken, why should
Jolla's library avoid that?)
... Or to spend this hour to bring xwayland! ;)

Let's not exaggerate. I don't think that making the copy-protection stuff
would be such a permanent and lengthy process that otherwise
