When using the vesa driver, the server doesn't completely reset the
graphics adapter on server exit, no text is visible on the screen
until after a VT switch. This

on a Via CLE266 (600MHz Epia-M), I've found severe text drawing
errors. Whole strings seems to draw mostly correctly, while single

Ive been looking into how the Xserver chown's terminals.
I cannot work out though why the server chowns /dev/tty0 to the
user:group of the current user who started the process. Ive done
some testing on what happens if this is not done, and have not
