I can't type an n-tilde with Multi_key, a, asciitilde

I know ATI has a policy of working with the XFree development team to help generate
some lower level drivers so that 3d acceleration can be incorporated. I also know
that the GATOS project is working on a similar process.
I've tried a number of things to get this working, but all have failed.

Does anybody see problems with the attached patch?
I think there is some misnaming in the register field names, i.e. instead
of pInt-ax maybe it should now be called pInt-eax, anyway, this patch
does not change the int10 infrastructure, and

You can still get the original code from CVS if you go back
far enough. It was from the DEC DNARD project for BSD, so you
can still get it from:

The XFree4 S3 driver doesn't work quite right on my #9 Motion 771.
The bottom 5th of the screen is not addressed properly in some
cases. If I start the X server with no background bitmap or windows,
the old contents (from a rum with XF86_S3) of the frame buffer is
displayed in that region.

Even more. Keys such as Return, Escape, arrow keys, function keys and
some other also are missing for nearly all symbol files.
The thing is all those files are _partial_ keyboard symbol maps and must
never be used alone.
