I have changed the name of the rpm names from
e-smith-name.rpm to vineet-name.rpm. After
changing names i also changed the spec files, then i
regenerated the hdlist file.
The installation seems to go smooth, but the
post-install is creating problems. It seems that
perl-Text-Template-1.20 rpm is
I was trying to change the name of the rpms from
e-smith to dave-mitel, but i m not able to do it.
Could anyone help me by telling the steps involved in
changing the rpm names?
I have tried doing all that i could have done.

I am using e-smith 5.0, i wanted to know what kernel
configuration parameters are set in its kernel
(2.2.19-7.0.0 on an i686)
Can anyone tell me where to find this information, it

Whats the use of /lib/modules/2.4.6-7.0.8e-smith and
/lib/modules/2.4.6-7.0.8smpe-smith in e-smith 5.0.
they contain ppp.o module in it, which is installed
by ppp-2.4.0-12.i386.rpm.
any particular use of it by any application?
