I seem to recall that the waterfall image (fax) has been available for some time with the digital image/data programs, e.g., WinDRM, and perhaps it was later adopted into some of the sound card programs? ARRL considers the mode to be digital J2D when sent as a sound card mode modulating an SSB

Hello Bill It was around 14.075 give or take... what surprised me most was that as the signal started on a frequency it would start (or a similar signal)also about 1/4 of a second later about 600 or 700 hz higher... I'll check about jt65 and see if it is it... Thank you and 73's Francois

Relater issue. It seems that AORmight be getting out of the DV hardware business...at least on the amateur radio market. Will this help foster software DV or cause transceiver manufacturers to want to build DV into their transceivers just as some have done with PSK31? 73, Walt/K5YFW Tony

Jose, But does that mean you need to be listening in Hell mode? Or does it display on the waterfall regardless of the chosen mode? Paul Paul, Some programs are capable of sending a Video ID using Hell, so, you can read the ID as a text preamble from the waterfall.
