have question; what about
using 1500Hz as a default infrequency in instead of 1000Hz ? All my
transceivers (icom's) have their
sweet point's at 1500Hz. i USB/LSB

no problem just click options and enter new Tx Center Frequency
( in the upper right corner ) click apply.
MFTT can handle any Tx Frequency from near zero up to near half of
TX sample rate of soundcard.

Heard HB9TLK, LA5VNA and F1ABL with half speed on 14068 kHz.

the pilot is a macro that sends a pilot-tone and the beginning of your
transmitted text
it is explained on the homepage how this work but i will try to explain it
