Hi Patrick and Simon.
My code is derived from Patrick's, only I heavily optimized it to be executed
on a less powerful fixed point arithmetics CPU. I am obsessed with optimization
to increase battery life of the Pocket PC device.
I am refering to PocketDigi source code, misc/rsid.c. I believe
Does anyone know of Pactor 1 frequencies that are often used. I wish to
practice tuning using a PK 232.

I worked a few stations on 60 meters , phone, last night and left my
radio tuned to 5371.5 USB while doing other things in the shack. The
amount of digital signals on or near that frequency were amazing, all
kinds of loud beeps and squeaks...some S9. I know that in the USA
and the UK we share

It's been about 2 weeks since I have been on 60 but I did hear
some then very weak. Was only about 2DB above ESP here
in the mid west. Any clue on a source?

I'm new to this stuff, and keen to get it right as easily as possible.
Looking at installing an ICOM 725 (old reliable) on a 27 foot (Albin Vega)
sailboat. The easiest HF antenna prospect seems to be a multi-band Outbacker
grounded to the pushpit rail, thence by the attached lifelines around
Sure,
What's the actual interface? I don't see a simple description anywhere on
the website :(

After playing around with 60M Phone band for the past 24 hours, I must
say it is fun that could be replicated for digital modes. The band is
useful for the propagation at those frequencies but made even more fun
by the channelization and power limitations. No splattering and no Kw
stations to
I tried out MFTT Sunday. Made a half dozen qsos and have all kinds of questions
- hopefully someone else here has used the program before. Lots of activity on
the digitalradio sked page.
Capuring a pilot signal automatically matches the mode and speed to the
originating station? Yes .. No ?
All,
Received lots of positive feedback this week about making use of some of the
less-used digital modes so lets keep the enthusiasm going.
Simon Brown mentioned the use of RSID to help with mode recognition. He may add
this feature to DM-780 sometime in the future - thank you Simon.

I just downloaded MFTT and I need help to set it up. Any help will be greatly
appreciated.
