Also I have a DONNER sound
card interface,which goes from the Icom's ACC-1 port to the in and out
of my computers sound card and the computers serial port.

have no problems with the donner interface,works perfect on psk-31. Can't see
what anyother interface could do any better. I would like to find a innerface
that can do the necessary sound card interface ,but also the rig control
interface for the icom thru the CV-1 port. all in one box.
Here I feel much safer if I use a transistor to key the PTTdriven by
light.
I use an optocoupler to key the PTT. It has stood thunder, which is real
serious
in June, without damage to the rest of the connected stuff. I don't use
rig control.
