Hello Tony,
You can also exchange your respective APRS positions and local meteo conditions
in connected mode (but use the last test version, I fixed a bug about APRS).

Hello all!
I have what should be a simple question about configuring my computer so that I
can use an audio filter program. I had this set up a few years ago, but I
forgot how I did it! As the computer is set up now, audio from the mic jack
goes directly to the speakers or headphone jack. When
Seems like people are falling all over one another to
participate in WINMOR testing, yet we have other ARQ schemes
that aren't getting exercised at all. I don't understand it.

Subject: [digitalradio] Why so much interest in WINMOR?
Seems like people are falling all over one another to

I think, not sure, that a majority of WINMOR testers are NOT experienced
digital mode operators. By that I mean they may be RTTY or PSK31 operators

Learn to tune and copy before you make your first QSO.
Figure out how your radio/computer/interface work by reading the instructions
first, then practice.
Keep your output power down low- you dont need 100 or even 50 watts for PSK.

1. don't be afraid to ask for help
2. listen to a couple of QSOs in a mode before attempting to make your first
one
3. if you must worry, worry about signal quality, not signal strength

Liking ALE does not make Tony and I junkies.. Ale-ies , who knows. As we all
know, too much ALE (and lager)makes you dizzy
I agree with Andy that the majority of folks were not hard core digi ops
before Winmor was released for beta testing. One only has to look at the
questions on the yahoo
