With respect to the initial topic Writing a MSc, PhD, DSc or a text
book I would BTW like to also hint to the very usefull bibliography
tool Bibus (and don't take the homepage as a quality marker for the
program)

Work
Just a comment. While the OOo's own bibliographic tool is not ready,
have a look at Bibus.
http://bibus-biblio.sf.net
The author promised to provide a converter once the OOo tool is finished.

Thank you!

Installation under Windows has also been improved since 1.0.
As the bibliography project within OOo has not yet released anything
useable I recommend to give Bibus a try (and don't judge the program
by its homepage ;) )

NM there and has been for a long time
Yes, I know that Linux is much easier when it comes to these issues.
So anyone any idea for the WinXP-situation?
Thank you!

applications written for OOo 1.1.4
run smoothly in 2.0? I am currently trying to get Bibus to work
(bibus-biblio.sourceforge.net) and it would be a relief to me to hear
that I don't have to go through all this again once 2.0 is out (but of
course I will if I have to ;) )

on this project, but in order to do the switch in our lecture hall
this performance issue needs to be addressed. Feature-wise this is now
easily possible.
