Anyone seen this yet?

Smith is a freeware, cross-platform ColdFusion engine, written entirely in
Java. Running on the top of Java Runtime Environment and Java Servlet
Container, it can be virtually deployed on any operating system and work
with any web server.
Interesting to see yet another CFML engine (YACFMLE?) out there. Goes
to show how widely used and supported CFML is, and just adds more fire
under the feet of Adobe to keep adding great features to differentiate
itself from the clones (Smith's word).

I am just hoping the support of Java 5 will help alleviate previous
bottlenecks. It is sad to see graphs of various performance charts and
Adobe ranks pretty poorly. I understand some of these charts are deceptive
and situational, but none-the-less you want Adobe as the original owner to
look
I spoke at a conference in Rome in early November along with Ben Forta; he
said publicly that while Scorpio (CFMX 8) will support Java 5, it might not
ship with Java 5 as the default JVM. Something about there being lots of
third-party software in CFMX, some of which might not support Java 5, and
:-)
