Actually - rates in LA and SD seem to be about the same as Atl,
sometimes lower. Most of the insanely high rates of the dot com boom
are gone. You might still find some out of wack rates here and there,
but even in places like SF I think they are moving in line with the
rest of the country.

IMHO - I'd say that hourly rate's a little low as well, particularly since
it's a contract, and as you said could be terminated at any time.
