Disregard. Change was due to some changes in Amazon and/or XMLtramp,
coupled with inadequate error handling in my code.

This code used to work, but appears to have stopped working at some
point. I suspect it's either a unicode or escaping thing. I'm trying
to use Amazon web services and return books:
