For those of you who do not know me, I am Pulkit Krishna, the previous Base
Guide coordinator. I was unable to contribute anything for some time due to
some personal problems, but now I am back.
I had suggested a rewrite of Base Guide a few days before disappearing but

The colors for other Guides are OK but for getting started guide it is
Grey. I don't think it will look good. Yellow for Draw would also be a

to experimental
as v6.4.4.

I have done the first review of chapter 0, 2, 3, 4 and 5. The files are in
feedback folder. I have updated the spreadsheet. Is there no plan to make a
complete book from these chapters? I am saying so because the covers are
not listed in the tracking spreadsheet.

I don't think so. Numeric values could lead to confusion. In USA the normal
format for writing date is MM/DD/ but in my country India and
entation website(I am not sure if EPUB versions are linked

I wanted to know which is the more updated copy of chapter 8 of GS? One
which is in feedback folder or the one in drafts folder? I am not
familiar about the procedure followed in GS. Both the files do not have
Dan's initials. I wanted to take the file for its fourth review.

edit the base guide in v7 and not in v6.4. We should also let v6.4 be
released. V7 is a major release with rebranding and all. We should make a

Do we need a column called "Has Style been updated?" in Base Guide 6.4
tracking spreadsheet? I mean the I am updating Base Guide from its v6.2.
You yourself updated the styles of all the chapters except macros of that
version. So do we need that column?

Hello Everybody,
I am also facing this issue since a long time. I think I have even reported
a bug for version 6.4.0 but I am not sure. Using the list of font size has
no problem but using Increase and decrease font button makes libreoffice
crash.
