In the printed books I have not followed the convention that chapters
should start on odd-numbered page, because I did not want to have blank
pages. But If I want to do it, here is the method I use: I make the First
Page style right-page only. Then when exporting to PDF, check the box

All chapters- except Preface & Master Docs - are in the WiP folder. The
status spreadsheet includes notes on what has changed. Most chapters have
no changes. I encourage reviewers to look first at the chapters that have
been changed. Change tracking was on for non-trivial changes.

I have done the changes and the cleanup of the files of WG72 WIP folder.
The changes were carried with track changes disabled and later enabled
back. The reason is that the changes are "under-the-hood" and did not
affect contents, therefore avoiding a cluttered track-change
All chapters of Writer Guide 7.2 are now in NextCloud, ready for Olivier to
do his changes to them. After that, I need to replace/update a lot of
figures, but others can review at any time. I’ve made only a few changes.
I will now return to working on the Getting Started Guide 7.2.

I have now completed compiling the Writer Guide. I think I have found
and corrected all the problems.
All the chapter ODT files, the master ODM file, the cover ODG and

naming and tagging these guides, along with the Community/Professional
naming scheme the TDF has decided on.

Others have been revised and are awaiting second review, and some chapters
have been published. I’m now working on the front matter and master doc for

WG7114-MailMerge is now in the WiP folder for review. I made a lot of
changes in some parts of the chapter, mainly cutting out obsolete
information and making new screenshots. I did not track the changes. The
last section, about using the Mail Merge Wizard, appeared to be up to date,
so I left it

Now that the LO conference is over, and I'm back from my latest
travels, it's time to move along with GS 5.2 and WG 5.2.
Olivier, I've replaced the WG Preface file I uploaded to ODFAuthors a
month ago. When you (or anyone) have a chance, please review my work
on the Preface and Chapters 1 and 2.
I have updated and rewritten the Preface to Writer Guide 5.2. Because
I have made extensive additions and changes, I have not tracked
changes from the previous version of the book (4.2).
