Job Summary & Responsibilities
Seeking a Senior Analyst/Developer to be the part of Technology
Infrastructure Software Development. Consultant should have a strong .NET
background with experience encompassing the full software development
lifecycle. Will be responsible for requirements gathering, design,
architecture, implementation and support for software solutions in
Technology Infrastructure. Must have solid oral and written communication
and organizational skills, and be comfortable in a technical leadership role
in a geographically diverse environment.
*Architecture/design*. The person will need to have a deep technical
understanding, having spent a significant portion of their career in a
coding role.
*Analysis*. The person will work with senior managers to help define their
business practices and suggest solutions that improve efficiency.
*Initiative/Ownership*. The person must be self-motivated, moving the
project forward against any obstacles along the way.
*Communication*. The person will need to influence and motivate people of
various interests and seniority levels. He/she needs to show past
experience in utilizing various influence skills.
This person should be familiar with developer best practices, but also be
flexible to adapt to the team's established best practices and environment.
*Team leadership*. The person should have some leadership experience,
focused on project delivery.
The candidate should also meet these requirements:
• Thick client experience preferred than web application
• Good at C# fundamentals -core concepts like threading, events, delegates,
win forms, .Net 2.0, .Net 3.5
o Optional, but a plus : WPF, WCF
• XML knowledge – serialization, .Net libraries
• SOA experience
o Knowledge of web services, WCF is a plus
• Definitely good at OOP concepts, design patterns
• Good at GUI designing, interfaces for displaying complex data
• Knowledge of Java is a plus, helps work with java developers with ease
• Knowledge of messaging products like RV is a plus
• Knowledge of databases is a plus.
Strong inter-personal and communication skills; making presentations to
customer or client audiences or professional peers, and working
independently on problem solving
Exposure to project management in an enterprise application development
environment"
