[DQSD-Users] RE: New google addition
Hi Shawn, You seem to be the first to know about changes to the way Google works - where do you get your leads? Am I missing anything else? Tara Calishain author of Google Hacks has a newsletter (see http://www.researchbuzz.com/). One of those ones I stay subscribed to as every issue or so I hear of something I am interested in. The secret is out, no more scoops for me! g Cheers - Tom. --- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program. Does SourceForge.net help you be more productive? [DQSD-Users] RE: Showing time [clocklongform] when in use
Thanks for the tip Shawn. It would be handy if there was a way of getting the deskbar to show the time [clocklongform] when you've been using. Perhaps someone has an alias setup for this? You can use the following line (assuming you've replaced jsexec.xml with jsx.xml, if not, change 'jsx' to 'jsexec'): jsx startclock(120);blur(); I was not sure of the above but renamed my jsexec.xml to jsx.xml. Then I tried jsx startclock(120);blur(); in the taskbar and also adding an alias now|jsx startclock(120);blur();. The former just starts a google search, Have I missed something? RE: [DQSD-Users] RE: Showing time [clocklongform] when in use
Hi Tom, Thanks for the tip Shawn. My pleasure. I was not sure of the above but renamed my jsexec.xml to jsx.xml. Then I tried jsx startclock(120);blur(); in the taskbar and also adding an alias now|jsx startclock(120);blur();. The former just starts a google search, Have I missed something? You've got to refresh/reparse your searches (!). I guess I do this so often (cause I play with DQSD's guts) that it's second nature to me. I use ! probably about as often as all other searches combined. :) Regards, Shawn K.
