to my knowledge, there were never any TR-7A's produced with the single
panel; the split panel was used early on in the TR7 production run so

According to www.wb4hfn.com, the TR-7 serial numbering would have switched to the 7A domewhere between s/n 10376 and 11315. That is, 10376 is the newest TR-7 listed and 11315 is the oldest TR-7A listed.
