In the old days of tv sets that had removeable backs supply houses
would sell a cheater cord that would go between the back that is
removed and the set itself. This extension was an exact fit for the

Or do what Drake did, and fab a small aluminum plate with three holes in
it. One in the center for an RCA style phono jack, and smaller ones on
either side to match up with the holes in the AC-4 chassis.

Thanks for the Info on the VOX connector.
Now that the T4Xb is working again I will be back to testing the Amp (Alpha
78) when I get the amp keying cables made up. Checked in to some 40M nets
and left the T4 on for a few days. Seems solid again. Still has the cover
off on the 'bench'.

Anybody have a part #/source for a VOX connector for the AC-4? What else
can you use to make a relay cable? Going to try the 'B' line on one of my
amps.

Those two pin connectors are one of the most unobtainium items in the
4 7 Line. Even Drake gave up on them, and offered a small metal plate
with an RCA phono jack on it and two holes that matched the mounting
screws for the two pin connector in the AC-4.
