Hi all,
I like the metadata export function of the latest DSpace releases - I wanted to
extend it a little for some projects to include bitstream URLs for each item
within the exported spreasheet. I'm just wondering, before I dig into coding,
whether anyone has done this before (and would be wi
Hi Rudi,
Excellent - thanks for reporting back that it now works. (Sometimes we don't
hear back, and we're unsure if there is a still a problem, or if it all works
fine. So much appreciated).
Thanks,

The virus scan curation task is designed to run with clamd in network listening
mode.
Configure the clam daemon to listen in network mode at that same ip address and
port.
Open the configuration file in the clamd install directory in

Hello Robin,
I believe you can make ClamAV listen on TCP/IP sockets, too. Try to

additional changes I ran both
Hi Stuart,
Thanks for your reply. The DSpace installation I'm working with is a
clean install of version 1.7.0 w/update to 1.7.1. I have checked and
re-checked my dspace.cfg to see if I could find anything out of the
ordinary but unfortunately, without success; the same error occurs.

Hi Veronica,
there are a few different ways how content can be ingested automatically in
DSpace. When you want to work in the web user interface, your best chance is
to use the feature to upload metadata through a spreadsheet.
