Many years ago I ran
./dspace index-init
And I seem to remember database collision issues? But what about in
version 3. We have 85,000 items.
Thank you!

Hi all,
Wanted to see if anyone else had this issue, where if you have a query that
has a scope variable, like so:
http://impactsurvey.org/ccn/discover?scope=%2Fquery=author%3A%22Casa+Latina%22+AND+language%3A%22Spanish%22submit=Go
and add the opensearch option:
[previously posted to dspace-general]
Is anyone using the Fixity utility (from AudioVisual Preservation
Solutions) in their DSpace installation? We're curious as to your
experiences in its implementation, use, and ongoing performance.
We are running on DSpace 3.2
Thanks,
Ann

I'm now considering running index-update while the system is up. A
long time ago, I think when we were using lucene then, I got db
collision errors when running this. I'm wondering how safe it would
be to run index-update with the system is up. Again, I am on version
3.
Thank you!

Hi Jose,
Yes. 'index-update' is able to be run when the system is up. More
details are in the official 3.x documentation section on Reindexing

Hi,
For the life of me I can't figure out what I need to change for this -
basically, sitewide the sidebar layout in the mirage template (when logged
in as a non-admin) is:
Search box
Browse
My Account
Discover
RSS Feeds
I'd like to show it as:
Search box
Discover
My Account
Browse
RSS Feeds
Before we redesigned our site, I had a similar frustration with the
sidebar.
My solution was to collapse all off the nodes except Discover.
var s = + document.location;
if (!s.match(/community-list$/)) {
jQuery(#ds-options div.ds-option-set,#dspace-options
Hi Charlene,
In navigation.xsl, in the “dri:options” template, instead of:
xsl:apply-templates/
You should just be able to do:
xsl:apply-templates select=dri:list[@n='discover']/
xsl:apply-templates select=dri:list[@n='account']/
xsl:apply-templates select=dri:list[@n='administrative']/
Thanks Jacob! That worked, with the correction of the first line needing to
be 'discovery', not 'discover'

Just started configuring the workflow for our installation, and getting a
strange issue where if I go through the submit process (using a custom
input-forms.xml that we verified worked before setting up workflows).
Specifically, once we click the Complete submission button, the page sits
