Hi All,
We are using dsapce 3.1 xmlui version on obuntu 14.04 LTS version. When I try
to import a csv file to dspace it shows me this error.
Unknown metadata element in headingdc.identifier.google.url
I double checked that the dc.identifier.google.url be the same on both the csv
and metadata
Hello Sisay,
the . is used to seperate metadata schema, element and qualifier and
there is no further depth in the metadata fields. A field like
dc.identifier.googleurl would be valid (allthough you might use another
schema as this is no real Dublin Core metadata field).
If you were able to
Hi again,
I now retried what I described yesterday in a different browser
(yesterday it was Firefox, today I am trying Chromium) to see if my
HTTPS-CC-issue is reproducable there. Answer: it is reproducable, and
its even worse. Although I am referencing
Hi,
I was able to solve this issue - at least for Firefox. As described here
[1], you can leave out the protocol and reference ambedded external
websites with //example.org. Doing that, its referenced via the same
protocol as the embedding page. Unfortunately, this only works with
Firefox
Hi Oliver,
I just read your mail from yesterday again. If I understand correctly it works
sometimes and sometimes not. May this be a cache problem? If you are using
XMLUI you should clean it's cache as well as the browser cache. This is just a
bold guess, but may be worth to clean all caches
Hi Pascal,
no, the problem is reproducable steadily - and I even know why, but I
don't know how to solve it for all browsers yet. Though its definetly
not a cache problem.
I can try to describe the problem again:
* I am referencing the HTTPS-page
Dear all,

Hi.
I need help in a situation that seems to be related to session timeout.
I could describe the problem in these steps:
1. Someone logs in DSpace
2. S/he stops working with DSpace while leaving the 'session' active
3. When trying to resume the work, DSpace seems to have unlogged the
Hi Ricardo
The default session timeout for Tomcat on an Ubuntu server is 30 mins.
This is a security feature IMHO - open and unattended workstations where an
admin is logged in are DANGEROUS.
To change it - just search for tomcat session timeout on Google for help.

Hi Stephano,
That error seems to be saying that Ant cannot find enough memory to
update your DSpace. It sounds like either your server is overwhelmed or
all of the memory is being allocated elsewhere. Here's a few questions
we'd likely need you to answer:
* How much memory do you have
Dear Bram, Victor and all,
We're facing the same problem: dspace submition is taking about 5
minutes to complete in dspace 4.1.
I've already applied the workaround: changing
dspace/solr/search/conf/solrconfig.xml line to buildOnOptimize but the
problem persists.
We also tried to update to
I've captured the log (in DEBUG mode):

We've just find the problem: mail configuration.
Correcting mail options and fixing
dspace/solr/search/conf/solrconfig.xml solved the problem.

Hi Bill,
I problem with:
theme name=Theme1 handle=12345/1 regex=^$|community-list
path=Theme1/
Is that that would apply Theme1 to things that recursively stem from handle
12345/1 (com, sub-com, coll, items, ...) AND (follow the regex of being the
homepage OR community-list). Which is no pages.
Hi,
I'm using Dspace 3.2 - XMLUI and I want to enable multi language switch.
In the same way it does in the demo repository:
http://demo.dspace.org/xmlui/
But I don't find the information nor the procedure to do this.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance.
