Whenever anyone is trying to register himself for the newly installed

Does making DSpace live for an institution requires some amount that need
to be paid. I was googling for the same and found that perhaps it requires
handle-server installation and which requires certain amount to be paid.
Please guide so that inappropriate approach can be avoided.

Finally after a lot of direct/indirect help from all of you I installed the
DSpace but it found build failure error at the ant fresh_install command.
It shows password authentication error. Error message shows password

I am Rahul Kumar Soni, a 5th senior undergraduate student at Indian School
of Mines-Dhanbad, India, and very new to DSpace. My university wants to
install DSpace and I have been given the responsibility to look for all
technical requirements. Though, I read a lot about DSpace but
I am new to dSpace and have a query. When a user submits one file to dSpace
then where does it get saved. Will that be accessible for other when
the up-loader of that is offline. Eventually in other words, Does dSpace
require any dedicated data storage space.

Does everyone in a company needs to install dSpace or it needs to be
installed only once in a server and can be user by other through a web
browser.
