The stats add-on does gather usage data from XMLUI as well, doesnt it?
Below is the info what I've received from the developers of the
package.
The interface of the stats is integrated on DSpace JSPUI. If you want to see
the stats you have to deploy JSPUI webapp.

To try and clarify. The Minho Stats add-on gathers usage data from the
Dspace log file ([dspace]/log/dspace.log). This log file is written to
from either the JSPUI or the XMLUI, and both interfaces attempt to write
the same *format* of logs. So, yes, the Minho Stats Add-On is able to
The Minho stats package does not integrate with the XMLUI in any
version. You must run the JSPUI in order to view and analyze the
statistics. The confusion around this steams from misleading
statements about the packages ability to read logs generated from the
XMLUI.

They do work, but there are some minor corrections that have to be
made in the installation instructions. Angelo Ricardo has promised
to apply these, and Im sure they will inform when its done.
