Hi All,
I am working on DSpace 1.5.1 with JSP on Windows. I would like to customize the
page for the search box in the middle with Enter some text in the box below to
search DSpace. I spend quite a time and still can not find the location of
this file. Please help me out. Thanks in advance.
Hi folks
I'm running 1.5.1 on a Debian server and I'm attempting to run a batch
import (just w/ 1 item and 4 files at the moment to test). I'm running
the following command:
dsrun org.dspace.app.itemimport.ItemImport --add
--eperson=sj...@hampshire.edu --collection=1 --source=/tmp/dva0001

Hi Sarah,
you got the source file wrong. The source file must contain one
directory per item to be imported. Try
mkdir /tmp/testimport/item01
cp /tmp/dva0001/* /tmp/testimport/item01
then run
dsrun org.dspace.app.itemimport.ItemImport
-a -e sj...@hampshire.edu -collection=1 -s /tmp/testimport
One, try running it with the test flag ( -t ) at the end of the command line.
Two, your collection ought to look something like 12345/1, not just 1, where
12345 is the handle (12345789 is the default you use if you haven't set up your
handle service yet, I think).

Haha I definitely just had one of those moments where I had to slap myself
in the forehead for not noticing that. Thanks for pointing that out! 8)

Hi,
You just have to edit this values in the Messages_es.properties file:
browse.menu.dateissued = Fecha Publicaci\u00F3n
browse.menu.author = Autor
browse.menu.title = T\u00EDtulo
browse.menu.subject= Materia
Hope it helps.

Most library university repositories get almost NO TRAFFIC at all.
Most repository items NEVER make it to the top in Google and are invisible.
So you have many items that are very rarely used.

This probably won't help you, but is the other repository running 1.5.2?
The item exporter was upgraded in 1.5.2 to include a new -m (or

I'm actually not certain, but their handle information is still in the
dublin_core.xml, thus requiring me to run dspace_migrate.
Thank you for the reply, however.

I think the situation being described here is that the ‘6’ are physical cluster

The setup I work with is all based on VMs in an ESX cluster as well, and it’s
great, but I think our plan is to eventually have
