Hello Lewatle, changing the DEFAULT_ITEM_READ and/or DEFAULT_BITSTREAM_READ for a collection will only affect newly ingested items. In order to change authorizations for existing items you got to use the advanced authorization management in the dspace admin section. Claudia Jürgen Am
