'123456789/X' is not a collection! You must specify a valid collection
fro new items
OK, crank up psql and look at
select * from collection;
the collection_id is 4, name Books

I am using dspace 1.8.2 version jspui, when I try to import more than 20
items metadata, it is saying there are too many records. How can I import
more than 20 items meta data into dspace at once.

Your format for the CSV looks fine. How many items are you trying to edit?
There is a limit on the number of records the admin UI will edit and if you go
over that, you get the No changes were detected message immediately below the

You need to import the xml files with DSpace's import tool (see
documentation). However, you you first need to parse the XML to a format
which is understood by the importer. I think you need to do this
yourself with XSLT, PHP, perl or similar.
