All collections are public by default.

My other point, when I see a record and I click, it displays information
 about that file.

Is there a question?

Re: [Dspace-tech] Items problem

2013-05-28 Thread Claudia Jürgen
Hello Luis,

per default all collections are public and thus the items published to
these colletions.

Unless otherwise specified the collections got the settings
DEFAULT_ITEM_READ and DEFAULT_BITSTREAM_READ set to anonymous read.
From these settings the rights of the item (access to the item's
metadata, access to the bitstreams of an item) are derived during the
ingest process.

Hope this helps

Re: [Dspace-tech] Items problem

2013-05-28 Thread Karol Braun
Hi,

I need to create a specific metadata template for all collections of a
community, does anyone know how I can do?
I've tried to edit the item template in the web interface, but the metadata
fields remain the same when I do a new submission.
