I reported a problem with Creative Commons that seemed to
start at my place right when it was solved for everybody
else. My analysis of the situation was poor and Nathan
Yergler from CC helped me reading the code thoroughly.

It may not be related, but the common fix for intermittent bitstream saving
issues is permissions on some parts of the asset store if an import has been
run as a different user (typically root) which sets wrong permissions on some
directories in the asset store.
