I was wondering what the general guidelines are for local conversations when a system is connected to ref001 port c? We have asked our users NOT to hold local conversations on the port connected to the reflector unless it is an emergency but the more I think about the more I'm not sure that is the

You cannot, for the time being, reply to JA7NJN or use one touch. You would have to put their repeater in the UR. Perhaps UR=/JP7YELA or /JP7YEMA. I don't know about the dongle users - I suspect until the JA trust server better coordinates with the US trust server, there will be a few

Japanese stations do not use Dplus currently so no Dongle functions will be recognized. You must set the call sign of THEIR departure repeater in Japan behind a / in your radios YOUR field for them to hear you and converse. Then it all works fine. If working mobile you will find it

I don't believe every user can link or unlink. I think they need to be an admin. Also, using rtp2=not use only stops them from going out the gateway. If someone on another system were to come on the reflector they wouldn't know there is a local conversation happening on another connected
