Hello, OK, this prompted me to do some more testing... because... I guess I didn't 'exactly ' remember what I was able to script/accomplish in the past. so, yes, indeed, with cdrtools 2.01a37 I can run split -b 4095m filethatistoobig 4095 then /usr/local/bin/mkisofs -U -udf -o big.udf 409
