distinct sound of their maritime weather forecast, parallel to 1269 kHz but not
to their longwave and local FM outlets.

Unfortunately. I believe that it provided excellent service to listeners in
German neighbors. I had admired for its classical music programming. Beyond
all this is an excellent DX listening.
